Symptom #7: Abdominal Pain
The abdomen is an anatomical area bounded by the lower margins of ribs and diaphragm, flanks, and pelvic bone. Abdominal pain can arise from any part of the abdomen. Pain in the abdomen can occur from the organs (such as kidneys, bowels, uterus, ovaries, bladder, pancreas), spasm of the intestines, inflammation, stretching, or distention.
Abdominal pain can be caused by a variety of causes such as viral infection, dehydration, diverticulitis, colitis, obstruction of the intestines, ischemia, inflammation, or distention.
