5. Jaw Pain

Depending on whereabouts the cancer is located, the patient may also be experiencing pain in the jaw area. This pain can make it difficult for them to move their jaw and this can make it difficult for them to chew, speak, and swallow. One additional symptom is a pain in the tongue; again, this depends on where the cancer is located. This will often coincide with pain in the jaw, making it even more difficult for the patient to eat and speak. It is not normal for us to experience pain in our tongues, unless we have injured them somehow, so it is something that should compel us to get medical advice.
