4. Double Vision

Having two eyes at the front of our head gives us the ability to judge distances. This is because they are able to triangulate on any given object, and the brain performs the task of working out how far the object is. If something was to go wrong, then we may end up seeing two of each object instead of one. While it is common for people to begin to lose their eyesight as they age, seeing double is not so common. It can be caused by a wide range of conditions, some of which are potentially serious, including head and neck cancer.
