2. Sore Throat
Another common symptom of head and neck cancer is a sore throat that will not go away. It is another symptom that is easy to overlook to begin with as it is common and usually quite harmless. If it continues for too long, however, then you should definitely get it checked out. In addition to a sore throat, the patient is also likely to have red or white patches in the mouth. What is more is that they can also find that their voice changes and/or it becomes hoarse. Again, discovering a cancer early on will considerably improve your chances of survival and recovery, so be sure not to wait too long to get it checked.
