Vitamin D3 Benefit #10: Live Longer
Exciting new research has shown the possibility of links to supplementing with Vitamin D3 and lower rates of mortality. Numerous studies have found that with supplementation of Vitamin D3 has a 7% decrease in mortality from many causes. In a study preformed on older women over 4 years, observed the effects of supplementing with vitamin D, Vitamin D2, and Vitamin D3.
The results found that Vitamin D3 was associated with significantly reduced mortality. Low levels of Vitamin D3 are associated with cardiovascular diseases, cancer, respiratory disease and diabetes, which can be the reason why higher mortality is seen in these individuals.
