A lipid panel test will also check for levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels. These are the ‘bad’ cholesterols that can cause you to become very ill indeed. The main threat from these is that they can begin to be deposited on the arteries in a condition known as atherosclerosis.
