Symptom #9: Rhabdomyolysis
Our muscles are prone to picking up injuries from time to time. When they are injured, our bodies set about trying to fix the damage straightaway and, depending on the severity of the injury, we will usually make a full recovery. Sometimes, though, damaged muscle fibers can cause problems elsewhere.
Rhabdomyolysis is a condition where muscle fibers that have been damaged make their way into the bloodstream. If these make it to the kidneys, they can cause them to fail, and this is an obvious problem. There are several reasons this can occur, and drinking too much caffeine is one of them.
