Do you sometimes feel as though you just will not be able to get going without your tea or coffee fix in the morning? It should not be surprising as, after all, they do contain compounds that help to give us a lift. This may not be the only reason for it, however. It could also be that you have developed a physical and psychological dependency on the caffeine.
Caffeine is readily available to us, so it is usually quite easy for us to get our fix whenever we need it. For some people, though, going without for an extended period of time can result in some very unwelcome withdrawal symptoms.
