That caffeine helps us to stay awake is the main reason that many people consume it. It is very useful in the daytime when you need to get stuff done, but it is not so useful at night when you need to wind down. Drink too much caffeine and you may find that you have difficulty getting to sleep at night.
It takes around 3 to 5 hours for around 50% of caffeine to leave your body after consuming it. This means you should obviously be mindful about drinking it too close to bedtime. Not only that, but a lot of people that drink too much caffeine can have difficulty sleeping even if they have not consumed coffee since long before bedtime.
