Symptom #3: Headaches

It’s not uncommon for people suffering from pharyngitis to experience headaches. These headaches can be present in different areas of the head depending on the condition contributing to the pharyngitis.

It may be a pounding or throbbing headache that seems to affect the entire skull or a sharp pain that emerges in the front or the back of the head. Headaches can also be caused by dehydration, so make sure to drink as much water as possible during a flu or cold.
