Symptom #1: Circular Rash
The ringworm rash can happen on any part of the body but appears most commonly near the neck, face, and shoulders. The rash usually appears in a circular or ring-like form in patches on the skin. While the rash in the form of a ring may look inflamed, irritated, and sore, the middle of the circle looks normal and unaffected.
The rash is extremely itchy and the skin around the affected area is often swollen. The rash will feel raised compared to other parts of the skin. It is important to note that not all rashes will be in a circular form.
