Symptom #9: Lump in the Breast
Breast tissue should be consistent throughout, with no lumps or bumps anywhere. This means that if you do find a lump somewhere in the breasts, it is something that you should arrange to get checked. While it will often be something quite harmless, it can be something far more serious.
A lump in the breast is a potential symptom of Paget’s disease, although lumps do not appear in every patient. Women are encouraged to inspect their breasts regularly for lumps and to get them checked as soon as they find something. The earlier a condition is diagnosed, the more chances there is of a full recovery.
