Symptom #2: Pain
The nipples are quite a sensitive part of the body. For many people, they are part of the erogenous zone. They protrude from the surface of the skin, exposing them to being caught or knocked. They are also prone to friction from clothing. Despite these problems, it is not normal to have painful nipples without good reason.
One symptom of Paget’s disease is that the patient is likely to experience pain in this area. This area can also be tender to the touch and more sensitive than usual. Their partners might notice that they become more protective of their nipples than usual when having sex.
