Symptom #10: Flattened Nipples
Nipples generally protrude from the breast. This is necessary because they need to be able to provide something on which babies can suck on to get the milk that they need. They will generally stay around the same size and shape, but will often get larger when a woman becomes pregnant.
If there is a considerable change in the size and shape of the nipples, though, then it is something you should get checked out. With Paget’s disease, the nipples can become flattened or even inverted in some cases. It might turn out to be nothing, but it is still a very good idea to go for a check-up.
