Symptom #5: Ulcers on Feet
Many of us have had mouth ulcers from time to time. They will often occur when we are feeling run down or after we have caused an injury to the mouth. Stomach ulcers are also fairly common and are generally caused by the use of various drugs or by a bacterial infection. They can usually be treated and surgery is not usually required.
People with leprosy are likely to find they will develop ulcers on the soles of their feet. Although painless, these can spread and cause significant damage to the feet. They also present an increased risk of an infection occurring.
