10 Home Remedies For Gout
Home Remedy #7: Sodium Bicarbonate
Sodium bicarbonate, also known as baking soda, appears to be nothing special. The plain white powder, however, can actually be very useful in a number of ways. It has chemical properties that cause reactions when it comes into contact with other chemicals, and these reactions can be very useful to us.
One benefit that is likely to be of interest to people with gout is that it can reduce levels of uric acid in the body. To use it as a remedy, drink a glass of water that has had half a teaspoon of baking soda stirred into it. Do this four times a day for two weeks and your gout symptoms should hopefully subside.
