Goldenrods are flowers that are members of the Asteraceae. They are often found in meadows and prairies of North America and can be found as far south as Mexico. Most are herbaceous plants and are thought to have anti-inflammatory properties and they are used in a wide range of remedies.
Goldenrod’s anti-inflammatory properties can mean that they can be helpful in soothing symptoms caused by hemorrhoids. Apply it gently to the hemorrhoids and it should hopefully ease the symptoms. Remember though that some herbal treatments might make things worse so it is a good idea to check with your doctor first.
