Cause #9: Genetics
The first thing that our parents give to us is their genetic code. This code determines a great deal about us, including how we are built and many aspects of how we think and feel. Unfortunately, however, this code can also contain defects that can cause problems for us.
It is thought that some people are predisposed to developing ulcers due to genetics. Basically, if your parents suffered regularly with peptic ulcers, then it means you are also more likely to have trouble with them. If this is the case, then you could try speaking with your parents about how they managed to go about preventing them or treating them.
