Symptom #5: Blurry Vision
With blurry vision, images lack sharpness and objects appear hazy and out of focus. The commonest causes of blurry vision are nearsightedness, astigmatism, farsightedness, and presbyopia. It can affect one or both eyes. In patients with nonexudative macular degeneration, blurry vision may occur when there is a gradual loss of central vision. However, those with exudative macular degeneration will experience a rapid loss of vision due to the bleeding and leakage of abnormal blood vessels.
