Symptom #3: Itching

It is not uncommon for women to experience itching in the breast. This is often down to wearing a bra all day long and it is not usually a permanent symptom. If there is more of a permanent itch in and around the nipples, it is a sign that there may be something quite wrong.

Such itching in the area is a symptom of Paget’s disease. The symptom may also be described as a tingling sensation and some patients may complain of a burning sensation. If you are experiencing these symptoms, it is worth arranging an appointment to get it checked out.
