10 High Cortisol Symptoms

Symptom #2: Fatigue

We all get tired, but a good night’s sleep usually cures that problem. For some people, though, even getting a solid 8 hours is still not enough to leave them feeling invigorated. One reason can be high levels of cortisol in the body, and it can leave some people feeling exhausted.

Cortisol is likely to have people feeling alert all the time with little to no time for relaxation. This in itself can be enough to be exhausting, even before you to take into account that you are also likely to be getting insufficient sleep. If you are always feeling fatigued for no apparent reason, you should make an appointment with a doctor.
