Cough
When issues are present within the throat, the natural inclination is to attempt to clear it. This causes the body to feel a strong urge to cough. Even without other symptoms, a sudden onset of the need to cough suggests a pharynx issue.
Some previously mentioned symptoms also increase the feeling of needing to cough. Dryness, soreness and swelling can lead to a desire to cough. If coughing persists, an individual should contact their health care provider to rule out more serious conditions.
