Lidocaine Side Effect #2: Spots On Skin

Your skin can often tell you a lot about your overall health. If there are spots or a rash on your skin then it could indicate an illness. At other times, it could indicate that your skin has come into contact with an irritant. It is not uncommon for purple or red spots to appear on the skin after lidocaine has been used.

Such spots are not usually something to be concerned about when using lidocaine. They are unlikely to cause any harm and will probably pass once you are no longer using the treatment. If you do suspect that there might be something wrong, though, then you should consider stopping using the treatment.
