Bladder Cancer Symptom #2: Frequent Urination
Frequent urination is commonly associated with bladder cancer. Even though a person may have a frequent urge to urinate, only small amounts of urine are eliminated. Frequent urination tends not to alleviate because of the pressure of the tumorous mass in the bladder and surrounding areas of the pelvis. Often, frequent urination can lead to pain as well.
A normal person will urinate 6 to 7 times during 24 hours. Urinating more than 7 times a day is referred to as frequent urination. When frequent urination is very often, it affects the quality of life.
