1. Tournament of Kings

The shows are a display of knights on horseback fighting it out with medieval weapons such as chains, jousts, swords, and shields.

2. Shark Reef Aquarium

Sharks are fearsome predators that are found in oceans all around the world. You would not usually want to get close to them when they are in the wild, but the Shark Reef Museum in the Mandalay Beach Resort allows you to get really close in complete safety.

The aquarium is home to around 100 sharks of more than 15 species. In addition to sharks are also stingrays, turtles, Komodo dragons, crocodiles, and many exotic fish species. There are in excess of 2,000 animals overall held in 14 separate exhibits. The aquarium is also located in a convenient location near restaurants and shops.

3. Lion Habitat Ranch

Lions are fascinating and majestic animals. Powerful predators, they are also beautiful to look at and you can spend hours watching them go about their day to day lives.

At the Lion Habitat Ranch in Las Vegas, you get to see these beautiful animals up close in an environment that is completely safe. Madame Tussauds is an internationally famous company that is known for creating incredibly realistic wax models of real people. The first was in London, England, and Las Vegas was the first American city to have a Madame Tussauds of its own.

There are currently only 24 Madame Tussauds worldwide, meaning relatively few people get to see one. While the Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas does have wax models of people from other countries, it does have a focus on celebrities from the United States. Visitors get to stand alongside models of superstars like Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Will Smith, Bruno Mars, and Sammy Davis Jr.

5. Las Vegas Indoor Skydiving

Jumping out of a plane that is working perfectly well is not everybody’s idea of a good time, but a lot of people love it. Some even go as far as leaving it for as long as possible before opening their parachutes in an extreme sport known as skydiving. In Las Vegas, you can take part yourself, but without the risks.

With Las Vegas Indoor Skydiving, you get to skydive in a wind tunnel recreates the sensation and experience of skydiving. While many aquariums allow you to get really close to sharks and other marine species, few allow you to get as close as Las Vegas’ Seaquest Interactive Aquarium does.

Here, visitors get to explore exhibits that mimic different habitats from around the world including the Amazon, the Caribbean, and Egypt. You will get to meet various species of animals during your visit and you may even get a chance to feed the sharks. For a real personal experience, you can even get an opportunity to swim with real live stingrays. After building up an appetite, you can refuel at the nearby John’s Incredible Pizza Company.

7. Discovery Children’s Museum

Learning should be as much fun as possible in order to help kids to get involved. The Discovery Children’s Museum in Las Vegas helps to do just that. There is plenty to do in the museum, which stands at 3 stories high, and there many interactive exhibits that allow children, and adults, to get hands-on.

The museum features a replica of the Hoover Dam to help teach kids how it works. There is also a 70-foot-tall tower in which kids can get hands-on in performing a wide range of scientific experiments, and they can also get to learn more about sustainable energy.

8. Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas

Las Vegas is located in the Mojave Desert. You would probably expect the town to get rather hot considering it is located in the middle of a desert, and you would be right. It gets so hot that visitors will often be looking for a way to cool off, and Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas offers just that.

Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas is a waterpark that has something to offer people of all ages. The park has 10 attractions to keep you entertained and no fewer than 27 slides. For those that are daring enough, the Canyon Cliffs slide starts with a drop that is nearly vertical and is six stories high.

9. The Adventuredome

Las Vegas is a city of fun and adventure so it makes sense that you will also find some exhilarating rides. If you are looking for something that will turn your knuckles white, the Adventuredome should be on your list of places to visit.

Here you will find 5 acres of rollercoasters and other rides including bumper cars. There are also family rides and junior rides for young children and for grownups that are not keen on the attractions that really get your heart pounding. If you are visiting in Halloween, you will find the Adventure dome is transformed into the Fright Dome.

10. The Best Cirque du Soleil for Families

The Cirque du Soleil was founded in Canada 53 years ago and has since spread to other locations worldwide. This is not just any circus, it is the best circus there is, and visitors will be astonished by the skill and the bravery of the performers.

It is important for parents to note that the Zumanity shows are not suitable for children, but there are still plenty of other shows that children will enjoy. Another thing that will appeal to a lot of people is that the Cirque du Soleil has a policy of not using animals in their shows.
